Hello All,
Yes...we are meeting again this week!! It is your responsibility to bring in new research material related to your project and images to the table for discussion. I talked to some of you this morning who questioned what could possibly be the focus of a meeting after only a week has passed. The answer to this question simply is: a week's worth of of thought experiments and art production in a class that truly defines your identity as a photographer and artist. I believe that at the level you are currently engaged, it would be acceptable to have new meetings about your work every other day. This is a defining class in your academic career. You are two weeks into a 16 week semester. Time is flying by. How do you plan to define yourself?
Next week we will be holding "working" crits? I want you to be prepared to show to the class at least two new image experiments relating to your project. Please introduce the images and ask your classmates for specific feedback. If you cannot think of anything thing to ask, then I ask you to contemplate why they are worth showing.
